To Find :-

Numbers

Solution :-

Let the smaller number be x

Larger number will be 2 × x = 2x

 \tt \mapsto \: 2x + x = 18

 \tt \mapsto \: 3x = 18

 \tt \mapsto \: x =   \cancel\dfrac{18}{3}

 \tt \mapsto x = 6

Numbers are

 \mathfrak \pink{x = 6}

 \frak \green{2x = 2(6) = 12}

Verification :-

 \tt \mapsto \: x + 2x = 18

 \tt \mapsto \: 6 + 2(6) = 18
