Given :  8/15 of a platter of biscuits is left

this is given out in serving that are 1/5 of what is left

To Find :  how many servings will there be

Solution:

Let say a platter of biscuits  = 15k

8/15 of a platter of biscuits is left  = (8/15) 15k  =  8k

serving that are 1/5 of what is left = (1/5)8k  = (8k/5)

Number of servings =  8k/(8k/5)  = 5

5 servings will  be there
