Hey friend,
Here is the answer you were looking for:
If your question is
8x +  \frac{5}{2}  = 13 \\    \\ then \: the \: solution \: will \: be \\  \frac{8x \times 2 + 5}{2}  = 13 \\  \\   \frac{16x + 5}{2}  = 13 \\  \\ 16x + 5 = 13 \times 2 \\  \\ 16x = 26 - 5 \\  \\ 16x = 21 \\  \\ x =  \frac{21}{16}

Or if your question is
 \frac{8x + 5}{2}  = 13 \\  \\ then \: the \: solution \: will \: be \\ 8x + 5 = 13 \times 2 \\  \\ 8x = 26 - 5 \\  \\ 8x = 21 \\  \\ x =  \frac{21}{8}

Hope this helps!!!
