Given :

  • Force (F) = 20 N
  • Acceleration (a) = 2 m/s

To find :

  • Mass of the body (m)

According to the question,

As we know that the formula for force is,

Force = Mass × Acceleration

Or,

→ F = ma

Substituting the values,

→ 20 = m × 2

→ 20 ÷ 2 = m

→ 10 = m

.°. The mass of the body is 10 kg..

So,option (a) is correct..

Given:-

  • Magnitude of force provided (F) = 20 N
  • Acceleration becomes (a) = 2 m/

To Find:

Mass (m) of the body.

We know,

F = ma

where,

  • F = Force,
  • m, a = mass and acceleration respectively.

∴ 20 N = m(2 m/s²)

→ m = (20 kg m/s²)/(2 m/s²)

→ m = 10 kg (Answer)

Mass of the body was 10 kilograms.
