two-thirds of the total time. At what speed (in kmph)
should he travel to complete the remaining part of the

Thus, total Speed = x km/ t hr

therefore, 40= x/t

Required Speed = Total Speed - Speed required in covering 3x/5 km in 2t/3 hr

Required Speed = x/t - (3x/5) / (2t/3)

= x/t - 3x*3/5*2t

= x/t - 9x/10t

= (10x - 9x ) / 10t
