Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

p =3, t=2

To find:-

Find the value of p×p+2×p×t+t×t ?

Solution:-

Method-1:-

Given that

p = 3 and t = 2

The value of p×p+2×p×t+t×t-----(1)

Put p = 3 and t = 2 in (1) then

=> 3×3+2×3×2+2×2

=> 9+12+4

=> 25

Method -2:-

Given that

p = 3 and t = 2

The value of p×p+2×p×t+t×t

=> p^2+2pt+t^2

It is in the form of a^2+2ab+b^2

Where a = p and b = t

We know that

(a+b)^2 = a^2+2ab+b^2

p^2+2pt+t^2

=>(p+t)^2-----(1)

Put p = 3 and t = 2 in (1) then

=> (3+2)^2

=> 5^2

=>25

Answer:-

The value of p×p+2×p×t+t×t for the given problem is 25

Used formula:-

  • (a+b)^2 = a^2+2ab+b^2
