marked price of the dining table which costs the carpenter 1190.​

Selling Price = M - 0.16 M = 0.84 M

Cost = 1190 =

Gain 20% = 0.2 * 1190 = 238 =

Selling price = 1190 + 238 = 1428 =

M = 1700
