A metal m is Copper which is below hydrogen in the metal reactivity series and hence it can't displace hydrogen from acids.When it reacts with oxygen a black colour compound copper oxide(CuO) is formed.

In the diagram,

Resistance(series)= 10+10+10

                              = 30

Resistance(parallel)= 1/30+1/10

                               = 1+3/30

                               = 4/30

                               = 2/15

                               = 15/2(it becomes reciprocal)

                               = 7.5 ohms.
