which method do we apply, substitution, elimination or cross multiplying methods...
I'll apply elimination method
9x-10y=-12.....(1)
18x+18y=117....(2)
multiplying eq 1 by 2 and eq 2 by 1
18x-20y=-24
18x+18y=117
(-). (-). (-)
-38y= -141
y= 3.71
putting the value of y in eq 1
9x-10y=-12
9x-10(3.71)=-12
9x=-12+37.1
x=25.1/9
x=2.78 or 2.79
I think this is your answer
