▶We have to Subtract 15-4x+3x² from 9x²+5x-17

▶So for subraction, we have to change signs of 15-4x+3x².

▶By changing signs, we will get -15+4x-3x²

9x²+5x-17
-3x²+4x-15
________
6x²+9x-32

Solution :

Given two expressions are ,

9x² + 5x - 17 , 15 - 4x + 3x²

Subtracting second expression from

first expression ,

9x² + 5x - 17 - ( 15 - 4x + 3x² )

= 9x² + 5x - 17 - 15 + 4x - 3x²

= 9x² - 3x² + 5x + 4x - 17 - 15

= ( 9 - 3 )x² + ( 5 + 4 )x - 32

= 6x² + 9x - 32
