9y²-12y+4 = 0

9y²-6y-6y+4 = 0

3y(3y-2) -2(3y-2) = 0

(3y-2) (3y-2) = 0

(3y-2)² = 0 Y = 2/3

Yuichiro13: Err ! Wrong =_= ( Hope ya remember me still :(
Yuichiro13: And it's FACTORIZING duh !
Ankit1234: It's factorizing only tho!
Yuichiro13: Second step.. splitting of 12y as 9y + 4y ??
Ankit1234: Sorry I did a mistake.
Ankit1234: It will be 6y and 6y.
Ankit1234: Mad me... !
Ankit1234: Okay now?
Yuichiro13: :p You've not changed a bit since then

 {9y }^{2} - 6y - 6y + 4 = 0
( {9y}^{2} - 6y) - (6y - 4)=0
3y(3y - 2) - 2(3y - 2)=0
(3y-2)(3y-2)
y=2/3

Hope it helps!!!
