(A)(1)A car of mass 1000 kg moving with a velocity of 36km/hr. hits a wall and comes to rest
in 5 s. Find the force exerted by the car on the wall.

2)An object of mass 200kg is accelerated uniformly from a velocity of 3m/s to 8m/s in 6
Calculate the initial and final momentum of the object. Also, find the magnitude of
the force exerted on the object.
OR
(B)(1) A truck starts from rest and acquires a velocity of 54 km/hr in 2 min. Find the
acceleration and distance travelled by the car during this time. Assume, motion of the
car is uniform.
(ii) A cyclist goes around a circular track once every 2 min. If the radius of the circular
track is 110m, calculate the speed of the cyclist.

A.1 the force exerted by the wall on car is as solving acceleration is -7.1m/s²

f=ma

f=1000 ×7.1

f=7100N
