A 150g ball travelling at 30m/s strikes the palm of the player's hand is stop him 0.05 s .find the force exerted by the ball on the hand.

u=30m/s
v=0m/s
t=0.05sec
F=mxa
=0.15 * (v-u)/t
=0.15*(0-30)/0.05
=3 x -30
=-90N

Initial Velocity = 30 m/s

Final velocity = 0 m/s

Time taken = 0.05 secs

Force = Mass* Acceleration

=0.15*(0-30)/0.05

=3*-30

=90N
