A 4 ohm resistance wire is doubled on it. Calculate the new resistance of the wire.

If the 4 Ohm resistance wire is doubled on itself,  the length becomes half, and the cross section area becomes twice.

So Resistance becomes (1/2 )/2 = 1/4 th

so  1 Ohm ...
