a 5m ×4m×3m tank is filled with water. what pressure is exerted by it at its bottom .(given; density of water=1000 kg/mcube and 100m/second square)​

Answer:

Pressure (P) at the bottom of the tank is given by P=hdg

=1m×1000kg×9.8ms^−2

=9800Nm^−2

Surface area at the bottom of the tank

=2m×1.5m

=3m^2

∴Thrust at the bottom of the tank = force × area

=9800Nm−2×3m^2

=29,400N.
