Answer: Total cost of bricks needed = Rs 1700

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of square = 6400m²

Therefore length of side = 80m

Draw the figure and divide the roads into rectangles and calculate the area of each and add it up

Therefore Area of road = 1700m²

A( 1 brick) = lxb

                = 25x12

                =  300cm²

300cm= 3m

Therefore number of bricks needed = 1700/3

                                                             = 566.67 bricks

Cost of 500 bricks       -        1500rs

Cost of 566.67 bricks  -          X

(cross multiply)

500x = 1500* 566.67

500x = 850005

      x = 850005/500

     x = 1700

Therefore total cost of bricks = Rs 1700
