Answer:

Capital of A and B

I.e (56000+36000) = ₹90,000

C's share for 1/3rd share = 90000

90000 \times \frac{1}{3}  \times  \frac{3}{2}

capital of C will be ₹45,000

Answer:

The capital bought by C is Rs. 45,000.

Explanation:

  • The share of C = 1/3
  • Remaining share of A and B = 2/3
  • Capital of A and B as given in the question = Rs. (54,000 + 36,000)

                                                                                 = Rs. 90,000

  • Capital of the firm on the basis of capital of A and B

                                                                             = 90,000 x 3/2

                                                                             = 1,35,000

  • Therefore, C's capital                                = 1,35,000 x 1/3

                                                                              = Rs. 45,000

Thus, the capital bought by C is Rs. 45,000
