A and B can finish a piece of work in 6 days and 4 days respectively. A started the work and worked at it for 2 days. He was then joined by B. Find the total time taken to finish the work.

Since A has been working on it for 2 days, 33% of the work was already completed.

From the 3rd day, B joined A, completing 41% of the work, a day.

So, at the end of the thrid day, they'd have completed, 74% of the work. And before the 4th day is over, they'll be done.
