A + b's 1 days work = 1/6

A's 1 days work = 1/10

B's 1 days work = 1/6 - 1/10 = (5-3)/30 = 1/ 15

Therefore , b can complete the work in 15 days

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : A and b complete a work in 6 days. a alone can do it in 10 days.

To Find: . if both together can do the work in how many days?

Solution:

A and b complete a work in 6 days

So, A + b's 1 days work = 1/6

Since , A can do alone in 10 days

So, A's 1 days work = 1/10

Thus B's 1 days work = 1/6 - 1/10 = (5-3)/30 =2/30= 1/ 15

Therefore , b can complete the work in 15 days
