A completes full work in 6 hours and B in 9 hours
Work that A completes in 1 hour = 1/6 of the total
Work that B completes in 2 hours = 2/9 of the total
If both work one by one, work completed altogether will be 1/6 + 2/9
(LCM = 18)
= 1/6 x 3/3 + 2/9 x 2/2
= 3/18 + 4/18
= 7/18
Work done = 7/18
Work remaining = 18/18 - 7/18 = 11/18
