Answer:

Given :

  • A and B can do a piece of work in =16 days

  • A alone can do the same piece of in = 48 days

What to find out = how many days will B take to complete this work?

Solution :-

(A+B)'s 1 day work= 1/16

A' s 1 day work = 1/48

Hence B's 1 day work= (1/16)-(1/48)

=(3-1)/48=1/12

So ,B alone can complete the work in 12 days.

Answer:

24 days

Step-by-step explanation:

(A+B)'s 1 day's work =1/16

A's 1 day's work =1/48

B's1 day's work=1/16-1/48

=3-1/48=2/48=1/24

B alone can complete the work in 24 days
