A, B & C are three non-collinear points such that distance between point A and
point B is 7 cm., distance between point B and point C is 6 cm., distance between
point A and point C is 7 cm. Plot these points. Draw a circle passing through all
these points. Also draw another circle with radius 2 cm touching the first circle
internally at point A.

Given:

AB = 7cm

BC= 6cm

AC = 7cm

To plot:

A circle passing through all these points and another circle with radius 2 cm touching the first circle internally at point A.

Answer:

  • The line segments AB, BC and AC are plotted.
  • The mid points of the line segments are founds.
  • The point of intersection of the points is the centre of the circle.
  • The centre is marked as O.
  • With OA the circle is drawn.
  • With radius 2 cm another circle is drawn touching the first circle internally at point A.
