A=B+1000,
C=A+2000,
A+B+C=8200
by putting the value in the form of A
we get
A+(A-1000)+(A+2000)=8200
So,A=7200/3=2400, B=1400, C=4400
so A:B:C=12:7:22
Profit share of B=(7/41)*2460 =RS. 420

Answer :-RS. 420

Profit share of b is Rs 420 if a , b and c total capital of Rs 8200. a capital is Rs 1000 more than b and Rs 2000 less than c.

Given:

  • Total capital of a , b and c = Rs 8200
  • a capital is Rs 1000 more than b
  • a capital is Rs 2000 less than c

To Find:

b share of the year profit of Rs 2460

Step 1:

Assume that Capital of b is  Rs x

Capital of a = Capital of b + 1000

Capital of a = 1000 + x  Rs

Capital of a =  Capital of c -  2000

=> 1000 + x   =  Capital of c -  2000

=> Capital of c  = 3000 + x  Rs

Step 2:

Equate Total capital  with 8200 and solve for x

1000 + x  + x  + 3000 + x = 8200

=> 3x = 4200

=> x = 1400

Step 3:

Profit share of b

= (1400/8200) x 2460

=  420

Profit share of b is Rs 420
