If

A invests = x

B invests = x + 300

C invests = 3(x + 300) = 3x + 900

Total investment = x + (x + 300) + (3x + 900) = 5x + 1200

B’s share = (x + 300) / (5x + 1200) x 2250 = 500

x + 300 = 500/2250 (5x + 1200)

x + 300 = 10/9x + 800/3

x - 10/9x =  800/3 – 300

-x/9 = -100/3

x = 300

A invested Rs. 300

If

A invests =

x

B invests =

x + 300

C invests =

3(x + 300) = 3x + 900

Total

investment = x + (x + 300) + (3x + 900) = 5x + 1200

B’s share =

(x + 300) / (5x + 1200) x 2250 = 500

x + 300 =

500/2250 (5x + 1200)

x + 300 = 10/9x

+ 800/3

x - 10/9x =  800/3 – 300

-x/9 =

-100/3

x = 300
