A bag contains 12 balls out of which are
black ( If a ball is draw at randomo then
what is the probability that it will be a black ball?
(i) If 6 more black balts are put in the bag, the
probability that it will be a bract balt of drawing
black will be double than that of then find
the value of x.​

GIVEN :-

1 Bag = 12 Balls.

TO FIND :-

● what is the probability that it will be a black ball?

● Find also the Value of 'x'.

SOLUTION :-

Total Number of Balls = 12

Let the Number of Black Balls be 'x'

P( Drawing a Black Ball ) = x/12

It is Given that 6 More Balls are Put in the Box.

Now,

We Have,

Total number of Balls = 18

Number of Black Balls = x + 6

P( Drawing a Black Ball ) = x + 6/18

Therefore,

x + 6/18 = 2x(x/12)

x + 6/18 = x / 6

x + 6 = 3x

2x = 6

x = 3.
