Answer:

\huge\underline\bold {Answer:}

a) Number of red balls = 4

Total number of balls = 4 + 6 + 7 = 17

Therefore probability of a red ball

= 4/17.

b) Number of the blue and yellow

= 6 + 7

= 13

Therefore probability of a blue or a yellow ball

= 13/17.

c) Total number of balls that are not blue

= Red balls + Yellow balls

= 4 + 7 = 11

Therefore probability of not a blue ball = 11/17.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

total balls=17 balls

(a)probability of a red ball:

total outcomes=17

favourable outcomes=4

probability=4/17

(b)probability of yellow or blue ball:

total outcomes=17

favourable outcomes(blue)=6

favourable outcomes(yellow)=7

probability of blue ball=6/17

probability of yellow ball=7/17

(c)probability of not blue ball:

total outcomes=17

favourable outcomes=yellow balls+red balls

                                   =7+4=11

probability of not a blue ball=11/17
