Given:

No of white balls =P(W)= 5

No of red balls =P(R)= 4

No of black balls = P(B)=3

To Find:

Probability of getting Blackball

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the probability of getting Black ball be P(X)

Total number of Balls in the bag = P(W)+P(R)+T(B)

                                                      = 5+4+3

                                                      = 12 Balls

Probability of getting blackball = P(X) ⇒ (No of Black balls/ Total number of Balls)

                                                   = \frac{3}{12}

                                                   = \frac{1}{4}

∴ The Probability of getting blackball =  1/4
