Answer:

Ratio = 1:4:9:16

Explanation:

S = ut + 1/2gt^2

S1 = 1/2 x 10

S1 = 2m

S2 = 1/2 x 10 x 4

S2 = 8m

S3 = 1/2 x 10 x 9

S3 = 18m

S4 = 1/2 x 10 x 16

S4 = 32m

Ratio = S1:S2:S3:S4 = 2:8:18:32

Ratio = 1:4:9:16

Initial velocity = 0 m/s

Acceleration = g

We know,

Sₙₜₕ = u + a/2(2n - 1)

For first second,

S₁ₛₜ = a/2(2 × 1 - 1) = g/2 × 1 = g/2

For second second,

S₂ₙd = a/2(2 × 2 - 1) = g/2 × 3 = 3 × g/2

For third one,

S₃ᵣd = g/2(2 × 3 - 1) = g/2 × 5

For the fourth one,

S₄ₜₕ = g/2(2 × 4 - 1) = g/2 × 7

So, ratio:-

g/2 : 3g/2 : 5g/2 : 7g/2

= 1 : 3 : 5 : 7 (answer).
