A ball is gently dropped from a height of 20m if its velocity increases uniformly at the rate of 10 m s -2 with what velocity will it strike the ground after what time will it strike the ground​

We have to find Final Velocity (v)

According to second equation of Motion:

2as = v²u²

v² = 2as + 0²

v² = 2 x 10 x 20 + 0

v² = 400 m

v = 20 m

Final Velocity = 20m

Now, we have to find Time (t)

According to formula of time:

t = v-u/a

t = 20 - 0/10

t = 20/10

t = 2 Seconds

Time = 2 Seconds
