hi there mate!!!
Solution:
the initial velocity= u is 30m/s.
s= height=?
time= t=?
1.
now,
according to the first equation of motion,
let g= -10 as motion is in opposite direction.
v= u+ gt
here,
0= 30+ -10× t
-30= -10t
-30/-10= t
3= t.
therefore,
time= 3 seconds.
substituting the value of time in second equation of motion,
s= 1/2×gt^2
s= 1/2×(-10)×9
= -5×9
= -45 m
hope this helps!!!☺
