1) find the kinetic energy of the ball before it reaches the ground

Height is 5m

Using Equation s=ut+1/2gt², where u is 0

Considering g as 10m/s²,

5 = 0 + 1/2 * 10 * t²

t² = 5/5 = 1

t = 1sec_______________________________eq1.

v = u + gt

v = 0 + 10*1( from eq. 1)

v = 10m/s

1) K.E = 1/2 mv²

=1/2*1*10*10

=50J

2) 10m/s
