here we can use work energy theorem,
therefore,
work done by gravity=change in kinetic energy.
m*g*s=1/2mv^2-0
because initial velocity is zero.
5*10*40=1/2*5*v^2
therefore,
400*2=v^2
sqrt(800)=v
is the answer.
