⇝ What it's acceleration.

✡ Formula Used ✡

✴ v = u + at ✴

where,

v = final velocity

u = initial velocity

a = acceleration

t = time taken

▶ According to the question by using formula we get,

⟹ 0 = 10 + (a) (8)

⟹ 0 = 10 + 8a

⟹ 10 + 8a = 0

⟹ 10 = - 8a

\implies \: a =  \frac{ - 10}{8}

⟹ a = \dfrac{-5}{4} </p><p>

⟹ a = - 1.25 m/s²

∴ Hence, the acceleration of the ball is - 1.25 m/s².
