A batsman hits back a ball straight in direction of the bowler without changing its intial speed of 12m/s. If the mass of the ball is 0.15 kg determine the change in momentum of the ball

Change in momentum of ball = 2mv
= 2 × 0.15kg × 12m/s
= 3.6 kgm/s

Change in momentum of ball is 3.6 kgm/s
