Given Dimensions of the beam :

Length of the beam = 9 m

Breadth of the beam = 40 cm = 0.4m

Height of the beam = 20 cm = 0.2 m

Now , finding the volume of this beam :

Volume = Length × Breath × Height

= 9 m × 0.4 m × 0.2 m

= 0.72 m³

Given that the weight of 1m³ beam = 50 kg

So , weight of 0.72 m³ beam = 50 × 0.72 = 36 kg.

The required weight of beam = 36 kg.
