Mass = Density × Volume
M = 10³kg/m³ × (5 × 2 × 0.01)m³
M = 100kg

Mass of the man is 100kg

jeyadurga07: 100
jeyadurga07: volume of water displaced(5*2*0.01)m3=0.01*1000=100kg
JunaidMirza: That is what i answered.
jeyadurga07: A wheel that has 12 cogs is meshed with a larger wheel of 24 cogs. When the smaller wheel has made 40 revolutions, then the number of revolutions mad by the larger wheel is:
Solution:-

Let the required number of revolutions made by larger wheel be x.
Then, More cogs, Less revolutions (Indirect Proportion)
12*40/20
x=20

Length of boat = 5 m

Breadth of boat = 2 m

Water displaced by the boat when a man gets on it = 1 cm

What is the mass of the man = ?

Volume of water displaced by boat,

Volume = Length x breadth x water displaced by boat .

According to question :-

\implies V = 5 x 2 x \large{\sf {\frac{1}{100}}}

\implies V = \large{\sf {\frac{1}{10}}} cm³

The mass of water displaced by boat is equal to the mass of the man

Mass of water displaced :-

\implies M = \large{\sf {\frac{1}{10}}} x 1000

\large{\boxed{\bf{\green{Mass = 100 kg}}}}
