let speed of boat = x km/h

speed of stream = y km/h

8/(x-y) + 32/(x+y) = 7 ------------- equation (1)

20(x-y) + 16(x+y) = 16 ------------- equation (2)

solving both equations now we get ,

x-y = 4

x+y = 8

speed of boat in still water = 6km/h

stream = 2 km/h
