A body falls freely.What is constant?
Distance travelled by a body is 30 m, but its displacement is zero.Can it be true?

the total distance covered by a body is 30 m.it covered 15 metres while going up and it again covered the same distance while coming down.so its distance will be 30 m in total but as it is reaching its initial position , it's displacement will be 0.

since the distance covered while going up is 15 and coming down is 15 thus distance covered is 15*2=30m
and since there is no distance between initial and final position as it comes back to the initial position the displacement is 0
