Free fall of a body ,

V^2 = 2gh

V^2 = 2 (10) (10)

V^2 = 200

V = 10 root 2 m/s

V = 14.1 m/s ( since root 2 = 1.41

so now the time will be

V = U + gt

14.1 = 0 + 10 (t)

so now here ,

t = 1.41 seconds

Answer :-

Given,
S = 10 m
g = 10 m per second
u = 0m/s

We know,

 {v}^{2}  =  {u}^{2}  + 2gs \\  \\  {v}^{2}  =  {0}^{2}  + 2 \times 10 \times 10 \\  \\  {v}^{2}  = 200 \\  \\ v =  \sqrt{200}  \\  \\ v = 14.14 \: m {s}^{ - 1}

Again,

v = u + gt \\  \\ 14.14 = 0 \times 10 \times t \\  \\ t =  \frac{14.14}{10}  \\  \\ t = 1.414 \: s

Thanks!!
