Answer

  • Velocity after 6 s is 0 m/s

Given

  • A body is projected with a velocity of 120 ms at an angle of 30° with the horizontal [ g = 10 m/s² ]

To Find

  • velocity  after 6 sec

Concept Used

\bigstar \bf \;\; V_x=V.cos\ \theta\\\\\bigstar \bf \;\; V_y=V.sin\ \theta

Solution

Initial vertical component :

\rm V_y=u.sin\ \theta=u.sin\ 30= \dfrac{u}{2}=\dfrac{120}{2}=60\ m/s

Velocity after 6 sec :

\rm V=V_y-gt\\\\\implies \rm V=60-(10)6\\\\\implies \rm V=60-60\\\\\implies \rm V=0\ m/s
