As per the question, the body is moving vertically upward.

The initial velocity is 30 m/s.

Let the air resistance is neglected.

When the body moves up, the only force that acts on the body is the force of gravity.

Hence, the acceleration of the body is the acceleration due to gravity i.e g which is in vertically downward direction.

When the body reaches its highest point, its velocity will be zero at that time.

But, the body is pulley by gravity at that time.
