Explanation:

k =1/2 mv^2

2 =1/2 ×1×v^2

4=v^2

so v=2 m/s

Given ,

Mass of the body = 1 kg

Kinetic energy = 2 Joule

We know ,

Kinetic energy of an body is given by :

 \sf \red{ \fbox{ \fbox{Kinetic \:  energy =  \frac{1}{2}m {(v)}^{2}  }}}

 \sf \implies 2 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 1 \times  {(v)}^{2}  \\  \\ \sf \implies  2 =   \frac{{(v)}^{2} }{2}  \\  \\ \sf \implies  {(v)}^{2}  = 4 \\  \\ \sf \implies   v = 2 \: \: m/s

Therefore , the required velocity of the body is 2 m/s
