Answer:

14 m/s

Explanation:

F= ma. So here a= 20/5 =4 .using v=u+at ,v= 10+4*1 =14 m/s

Answer:

Explanation:

Solution :-

Given :-

Mass, m = 5 kg

Initial velocity, u = 10 m/s

Force, F = 20 N

Time, t = 1.0 seconds

To Calculate :-

Final velocity, v = ??

Formula to be used :-

v = u + at .. (i)

F = ma

But we do not know the value of a, therefore, using the formula, F = ma, we can write

a = Flm

By substituting a = Flm in Eq. (i), we get

= 10 + 20/5 × 1

= 10 + 4

= 14 m/s

Hence, the velocity after 1 second is 14 m/s.
