wt. in water= wt. in air- buoyancy force
= 1 - 100cc×1g/cc = 1- 0.1 kgf =0.9 kgf

Weight of the body in air is, W = 1 kgf = 1g N
Volume of the body, V = 100 cm = 100 × 10^-6 = 10^-4 m
Density of the liquid, q =1000kg/m^3
Now,
Upthrust = buoyant force, B = Vqg = 10^-4 X 1000 × g = 0.1g N = 0.1 kgf
So, weight of the body in liquid = W – B = 1 kgf – 0.1 kgf =0.9 kgf
