t1= 10s
According to Newtons first law of motion:
v=u +at1
v=0+(10)(10)=100m/s
Now time increases to 20
t2=20sec
Also v=d/t
d=vt=(100)(20)=2000m =2Km
Therefore the distance covered is 2Km.
