Gɪᴠᴇɴ :-

Initial velocity (u) = 0 m/s. --(At rest)

Acceleration (a) = 2 m/s²

Time taken (t) = 2 seconds

Distance travelled (s)

sᴏʟᴜᴛɪᴏɴ :-

Now,

On using second equation of motion, we get,

➭ s = ut + ½ at²

➭ s = 0×2 + ½ × 2 × (2)²

➭ s = 8/2

➭ s = 4 m

Hence,

Distance travelled (s) is 4 m

Answer: 4 m

4 m covered in 2s

Explanation:

Acceleration (a) = 2 m/s²

Time (t) = 2 s

∵ A body starts from rest.

Initial velocity (u) = 0 m/s

Now,

From second equation of Motion,

s = ut + ½ at²

s = 0 + ½ * 2 * (2*2)

s = 4 m

Hence, distance covered by it in 2 s is 4 m.
