A body starts moving from a state of rest with an acceleration of 0.5 m/s?.
After covering a distance of 250m the velocity of the body will be:

(b) 15.8 m/s

GIVEN:-

(u)=0m/s

(a)=0.5m/s

(s)=250m

TO FIND:-

After covering a distance of 250m the velocity of the body

FORMULA USED:-

v^{2}=u^{2}+2as

SOLUTION:-

body starts moving from a state of rest (u)=0m/s

it's acceleration (a)=0.5m/s

distance covered by the body (s)=250m

here,

(u)=0m/s

(a)=0.5m/s

(s)=250m

by using v^{2}=u^{2}+2as

v^{2}=0^{2}+2*0.5*250 [← putted vales in equation]

v^{2}=0+250\\v{2}=250\\v= \sqrt{250}\\v=15.8m/s

hence , velocity of the body will be 15.8m/s
