time for 1st 10km = distance/speed
=10/30=1/3
now time for next 40km = 40/50 =4/5
so total time is =1/3+4/5
=(5+12)/15=17/15 hr.
total distance is 10+40 i.e 50 kms
which is equal to 44.1176471..
