As it makes a right triangle ABC, we can apply Pythagoras theorem to find AC.
Therefore,
AC^2= AB^2+BC^2
= 15^2+ 20^2
= 225+400-625
So, Displacement is AC= 25 mtrs
Distance is total length of path travelled, i.e. A B+AC= 15+20= 35 mtrs.
