A body travels along a straight line for the first half of the total time with a constant speed of 20 m s^(-1) and for the second half of the total time with a constant speed of 30 m s^(-1) . Find the average speed of the body.

30=d2/t

in both case time is same

avg speed = total distance / total time

= d1+d2/t+t

=20t+30t/2t

=50t/2t

=50/2
